UC RUSAL withdraws claim against Norilsk Nickel on share buyback
Moscow, 1 December 2008 – UC RUSAL, which owns a 25% plus two shares stake in Norilsk Nickel, announced that it has withdrawn the case, which UC RUSAL filed against Norilsk Nickel in the Arbitration Court of the Krasnoyarsk Region seeking a cancellation of a resolution of Norilsk Nickel Board of Directors on the company’s shares buyback. 28.11.2008

Moscow, 28 November 2008 – UC RUSAL, which owns a 25% plus two shares stake in Norilsk Nickel, is pleased to announce that it is nominating Mikhail Prokhorov, President of ONEXIM Group, as its candidate to Norilsk Nickel Board of Directors.
